Gearing up for The Whiskey Off-Road

I guess bike season is here, although way up here at 9,000 ft it has been snowing and raining for the past 5 days. I have been trying to ride for the past month as much as the weather allows to get some bike legs for the early season races. 

I'm choosing to do the Whiskey Off-Road as my first bike race of the season. Why not go for a 50 miler with a $20k cash purse for the pro field?

Cycling News is calling it an Old West Showdown. My hope is to stick with Dave Wiens as long as possible...we'll see...


I have never been down to Arizona to ride so I'm excited to check it out and get my butt kicked!
